Man in his 20s dies after falling 30m from a clifftop near Coogee Beach

A man aged in his 20s has died after falling 30 metres from a cliff while on a popular Sydney coastal walk.

The man is believed to have fallen from the clifftop between Coogee Beach and Gordon’s Bay in the city’s east on Saturday afternoon just before 3pm. 

Multiple crews of paramedics as well as a rescue helicopter were called to the scene to tend to the man who had sustained critical head and chest injuries.

The man was found to be in cardiac arrest and was sadly unable to be saved.
