Man in his 20s dies of stabbed wounds after being found lying outside west London shop to become 110th killing in the capital this year

  • Police called to street in Southall, west London in the early hours of this morning
  • Man was found with stab wounds and later died from his injuries at hospital
  • His is believed to be the 110th violent death in the capital in 2019 

London’s knife crime epidemic claimed another victim last night when a man was found stabbed and later died in hospital. 

Scotland Yard said the man, believed to be in his early 20s, was found seriously injured outside a shop on The Broadway, Southall, at around 4am on Monday.

He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead at 5.26am.

A man was found stabbed in front of a row of shops on this west London street last night and has since died. His is believed to be the 110th violent death in the capital in 2019

The investigation is understood to be the 110th murder probe launched in the capital in 2019, as gun and knife violence continues to spiral.

The man has not been formally identified and no arrests have yet been made, Scotland Yard said.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Inquiries into how the victim sustained his injuries are ongoing.’
