Man in his 40s is found with gunshot wounds inside his home after shooting in north west London

  • Met Police said a man was found in his home on Nicoll Road in northwest London
  • The victim is suffering injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening
  • No arrest has been made after the shooting last night, MPS Brent said on Twitter 

A man in his 40s has been found inside his northwest London home with gunshot wounds after an alleged shooting last night.

MPS Brent said the incident occurred at 7.47pm on Nicoll Road.  The victim was taken to hospital. His condition is not considered to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made, the force added. 

Harlesden Police imposed a Section 60 order in the area, effective from 4pm today until tomorrow morning to prevent further violent incidents.

A Section 60 order is used by police to help them carry out stop and search – a tactic which helps them remove weapons from the streets.
