A man has ploughed his car into a Melbourne police station before allegedly headbutting an officer during his arrest.
The silver four-wheel-drive slammed into Reservoir Police Station on Edward Street, in the city’s north, just before 11am on Thursday.
Victoria Police confirmed the facility has been evacuated and they are investigating the incident.

Emergency services and paramedics were called to the scene, but there were no serious injuries.
Witnesses told 3AW they saw a Ford Ranger smash into a roller door before landing on top of a unoccupied parked police car.
‘We heard a loud bang across the road,’ the witness, identified as Danny, told the radio station.
‘A person has driven a Ford Ranger at the police station, tried to charge at the police and driven it right into the building.’
Video footage showed the driver apparently trying to headbutt one of the three arresting officers as they put him in handcuffs.
He has since been taken into custody.
