Man slams into lake after he attempted to use a rope swing

This is the hilarious moment a man attempts to jump into a lake using a rope swing but slams into the lake instead. 

In the video, he starts at the top of the rocks and grabs onto the rope. 

He then leans backward, jumps off the miniature cliff and immediately heads for the lake. 

But when he lets go, his foot gets caught in the rope and he ends up doing several cartwheels in the air before he smashes into the water. 

He lands into the lake on his side and makes a splash while his friends can be heard laughing in the background.

He then reemerges from the water and appears to be okay before the video cuts off.
