Tube bloodbath: Man is fighting for his life after being ‘repeatedly stabbed in front of horrified commuters on Metropolitan Line train as it travelled through west London’

A man has been airlifted from a west London tube station after being stabbed in front of horrified commuters. 

According to British Transport Police: ‘Officers were called to Hillingdon Underground station shortly before 4pm this afternoon following reports of a serious assault.

‘We remain on scene alongside paramedics, and the station is closed. Please check with Transport for London for travel and disruption updates.’

According to My London, one witness said: ‘We were on the train, me and my brother, coming back from Uxbridge to Ruislip. We saw people running down the train and the announcement said that the train had terminated.

‘Me and my brother got off as quick as we could, we would have been closer if I didn’t say let’s sit here.’
