A man has been rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in a random attack outside a Taco Bell in Melbourne.
The man, aged in his 30s, was outside Taco Bell in South Yarra, near the intersection of Chapel Street and Malvern Road on Wednesday when he was approached and stabbed.
The man was rushed to The Alfred hospital with serious injuries to his lower body, where he remains in a serious condition.
Police have launched a manhunt for the ‘unknown offender’ and are searching the South Yarra and Prahran areas.
One witness, who was at the scene after the stabbing, said there was ‘blood everywhere’.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing is underway.
Police told Daily Mail Australia that the victim may have known the offender.
‘Police are currently making enquiries into the whereabouts of the offender and an investigation is underway,’ Victoria Police said.

‘At this early stage, it is believed parties may be known to each other.’
