Chelsea star Mason Mount has refused to rule out a summer move to Manchester United in an awkward interview with Formula One’s Martin Brundle.
Mount was in attendance at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on Sunday afternoon.
Before watching the action alongside Chelsea team-mate Ben Chilwell, he bumped into Sky Sports presenter Brundle on his famous pre-race track walk.
Chilwell had a word with Brundle before pointing him in Mount’s direction, saying: ‘Let’s have a word with Mason’, before the midfielder replied: ‘What’s he saying? What’s he saying?’.
Brundle then responded: ‘He says you’re going to Manchester United!’ in a typically direct approach.

When asked about his future, Mount laughed awkwardly before giving a non-committal answer
Mount, 24, laughed awkwardly after being put on the spot, before giving a non-committal answer.
He said: ‘I’m here to just enjoy this race today, amazing day, can’t wait to watch it.’
Chelsea defender Reece James, also at the race, admitted ‘everyone at Chelsea will be sad to see Mason Mount go’ if he leaves as expected this summer.
Manchester United have opened talks with the Blues over signing Mount, who has one year remaining on his contract and looks unlikely to agree a renewal.
However, while United value Mount at around the £55million mark, Chelsea want £85m to sell a player who graduated from their academy.
Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with the 24-year-old.
James told Sky Sports: ‘If he goes, everyone will be sad to see him go.’
Mount has been mulling over his future while on holiday with a group of friends, including Chilwell, in Spain this week.

He joined Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in the Scuderia AlphaTauri garage for Saturday’s qualifying session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Mount later presented Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen with the pole position award after he qualified fastest for Sunday’s race.
Mount and Chilwell were just a couple among several football stars attending the Spanish GP, with Joao Felix – who was on loan at Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid – plus James and Sergio Busquets rocking up to the F1 showpiece.
Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe turned up too.
While Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte arrived 24 hours after his side’s FA Cup final win against rivals Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.
