Manchester United are on the brink of reaching the UEFA Champions League last-16 when they host Benfica at Old Trafford in one of eight European matches taking place across the continent.

The Red Devils only have to better the result of CSKA Moscow, who travel to Basle, to be sure of a knock-out place later in the season with two matches still to be played across the groups.

Elsewhere Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also looking to qualify for the last-16 but Celtic will be dumped out of the competition if they fail to beat the German champions in Group B and PSG avoid defeat.
