Manchester United and Juventus ‘head queue of more than 20 TEAMS eyeing wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland’… as RB Salzburg hope his market value will soar to £52m after this season

Manchester United and Juventus lead a queue of more than 20 teams chasing RB Salzburg wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland, according to reports.

Haaland has burst onto the scene in style this season, netting 22 goals in 15 games for the Austrian side already – including a remarkable first-half hat-trick in the Champions League against Genk.

And according to the Guardian, the 19-year-old has attracted interest from a massive 20 plus teams, including a host of European giants.

United have known of Haaland’s ability for a long time, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the youngster working together for two seasons in Norway at Molde. 

Meanwhile, Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, was interested in acquiring his services for just £5.1million in the summer of 2018. 

However, Haaland was reluctant to join a side where he would receive limited playing time.

But the two teams will reportedly face very fierce competition from fellow European powerhouses, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Since joining Salzburg in January 2018 for just around £7.8m, Haaland’s value has increased to £34.5m.

However, the Austrian outfit are expecting the teenager’s market value to bump up to more than £52m in the summer.
