Ralf Rangnick has called upon Mason Greenwood to earn more game time at Manchester United.
The interim head coach won his first game in charge on Sunday when United beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Old Trafford.
Greenwood was introduced as a second-half substitute, replacing Jadon Sancho just after the hour-mark with the score at 0-0.

The 20-year-old kept his composure inside the Palace box to tee up Fred for the winning goal – his first assist of the season in the league.
It adds to the four goals he mustered at the beginning of the season, but, while impressed by the maturity of the display, Rangnick insists he has to earn his appearances by showing dedication on the training pitch.
‘Mason [Greenwood] did so well at the start of the season,’ said Rangnick.
‘I think he scored three or four goals in the first three games, he’s a very gifted homegrown player and I would love to give him more game-time in the future.

‘But, of course, he has to deserve his game-time in training and, therefore, it was good to have him on the bench and bring him on the pitch.’
Greenwood scored in each of United’s first three matches of the campaign, but has find playing time hard to come by in recent weeks.
He had not made a league appearance since being taken off in the second half of the derby defeay by rivals Manchester City – missing the subsequent Watford clash with Covid, before remaining on the bench for the two matches Michael Carrick took charge of.
