He has also impressed on the European stage, hitting eight in five in the Champions League.

And United are thought to be at the head of the pack as they look to rebuild in the winter window.

But The Athletic are reporting that his agent, Mino Raiola, might not want him to move to a team of United’s size in January.

Instead, he could look to move Haaland to another European club before moving to a big team in a season or two.

It would benefit Raiola on a financial level and could leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer without one of his main targets in January.
