Marcus Rashford packed on the PDA by locking lips with his fiancé Lucia Loi after scoring twice in the World Cup game on Tuesday night against Wales in Qatar.

The England striker, 24, was all smiles after the win as he joined his high school sweetheart, also 24, in the stands following the match.

Showing her support, Lucia donned a white football shirt with her beau’s name and number on the back with a pair of blue jeans.

Marcus wrote in the caption: ‘24.05.22 [white heart emoji] @lucialoi.’ Lucia shared the same picture and caption on her page.

After a nervy first half in the match against Wales, Marcus’s thunderbolt free-kick put Gareth Southgate’s side in front on 50 minutes and just 93 seconds later Phil Foden tucked in Harry Kane’s cross for 2-0.

Rashford struck again on 68 minutes with England’s 100th World Cup finals goal to cap a glorious night for the Three Lions, as they sealed top spot in Group B and booked a date with Senegal in the last-16 on Sunday night – the first time they have ever faced the African nation.

Rashford said following the game: ‘Moments like this are what I play football for. The biggest and best moments. I’m really happy we are going through to the next round, we have massive ambitions for this team.’

The Manchester United forward dropped to his knees and pointed to the sky in celebration after his first goal and revealed afterwards that it was a tribute to a friend who died this week.

The England star, who was named man of the match continued: ‘I lost one of my friends a couple of days ago. He had quite a long battle with cancer. I’m pleased I scored for him, he was a big supporter and good friend of mine. He was someone who came into my life.’

Rashford and Foden were two of four changes to the starting line-up as Southgate shuffled his pack needing to win to guarantee top spot. And the England head coach hailed two-goal hero Rashford for sticking at it after being a substitute in the first two matches.
