While you might think a red-carpet ready complexion comes as a result of a detailed and time-consuming regime, Margot revealed that in fact she is laidback but thorough in her approach to skincare.

I’m on a plane every five seconds, and I can’t wash my face. I hate that feeling, but then I use these pads and my face feels really good,’ Margot told Elle.

She also swears by Bepanthen ointment, which costs $10 from Woolworths:

‘I have a conspiracy theory that lip balms actually have additives in them to dry your lips out so you keep buying them. But because Bepanthen is just a cream for dry skin, it works. It’s what I’ve used my whole life,’ the actress explained.

When it comes to toner, Margot said she swears by two cult products - Aesop's Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol, for $25 (pictured) and a Caudalie option

What are Margot Robbie’s skincare essentials?

When it comes to toner, Margot said she swears by two cult products – Aesop’s Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol, for $25, and Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir, for $24.

She will carry either one in her bag ‘all the time’.

To keep her skin nourished and hydrated, Margot uses the Australian brand, Bloc Cosmetics’ Citrus Moisturiser, which costs $52.

‘There’s a dermatologist in Australia who has a skin-care line called Bloc Cosmetics; I like the day-night moisturiser,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar.

The Citrus-flavoured product is ‘nourishing yet light on the skin’.

‘It is designed to calm, soothe and protect the skin, locking in moisture,’ the website reads.

In the evening, Margot will cleanse and tone all over again, before switching up her moisturiser and adding in an eye cream to keep crow's feet at bay

She uses La Prairie's Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Eye Cream, which costs an eye-watering $325

‘At the moment at night I’m using my Dr. Lancer cleanser and a La Prairie moisturiser. No matter how drunk I am I absolutely will not go to bed with my make-up on, I will not,’ the actress explained to Vogue.

She also uses La Prairie’s Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Eye Cream, which costs an eye-watering $325.

Margot isn’t the only high-profile fan of La Prairie. Fellow actress, Angelina Jolie, also uses their Caviar Cream, which is said to give the skin a much-needed protein boost.
