Mariah Carey is a Burberry bombshell while enjoying Memorial Day out on the town

Mariah Carey was a Burberry bombshell when she was spotted enjoying a night on the town in Los Angeles on Memorial Day.

The 54-year-old pop diva encased her trim figure in a clinging ensemble that was splashed all over with the signature Burberry print.

Wrapping herself in a camel-toned coat from the same brand, the 5ft8in songstress lent herself a touch of added stature with black heels.

In spite of night having fallen, Mariah popped on a pair of dark sunglasses before heading off to grab dinner in West Hollywood.

She was leaving Dan Tana’s, an Italian eatery that has been a showbiz hot spot for so long that Johnny Carson once declared it his favorite restaurant.

Dan Tana himself told The Hollywood Reporter that Drew Barrymore, scion of a famous acting family, once had her diaper changed on the bar there.

Mariah, who according to legend once had a concert rider stipulating she ‘doesn’t do stairs,’ recently paid tribute to her fellow singing sensation Tina Turner.

Tina died last week at the age of 83 at home in Switzerland, after a long illness following a glittering career that ran alongside a turbulent personal life.

‘The words legendary, iconic, diva, and superstar are often overused and yet Tina Turner embodies them all and so many more – an incredible performer, musician and trailblazer,’ Mariah tweeted in response to the news of Tina’s death.

‘To me, she will always be a survivor and an inspiration to women everywhere. Her music will continue to inspire generations to come. Rest in Peace, Queen.’

Meanwhile Mariah recently came in for slings and arrows from another renowned singer – the ‘Queen Of Funk’ Chaka Khan.

A couple of months ago Chaka slammed the ‘blind bat b***es’ who ranked her at No. 29 on the Rolling Stone list of the 200 best singers of all time. 

Published on New Year’s Day, the wildly controversial list featured such boldface names as Beyoncé, Adele and Mariah ahead of Chaka.

Appearing on Los Angeles Magazine’s podcast The Originals, Chaka claimed never to have even heard of the list before the host mentioned it. 

When she was told Adele was ahead of her, Chaka groused: ‘Okay, I quit,’ and when she heard Mariah was at No. 5 she said: ‘That must be payola or some s*** like that.’

As far as her personal life is concerned, Mariah is amicably co-parenting her 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with her dashing ex-husband Nick Cannon.

The steamy comedian has spent the past few years exuberantly expanding his brood, to the point he now has 12 children by six different women.

Nick recently appeared on the Revolt podcast The Jason Lee Show and spilled that Mariah takes a laissez-faire view of his headline-grabbing family life.

‘She high frequency, man. She always asks me: ”You aight? You good? How you doing? You handling it all?”‘ the Wild ‘N Out heartthrob shared.

‘She’s like, as long as you don’t bring none of that bulls*** to the Manor Of Carey. Like, she lives in her own world, nothing can infiltrate that stuff. When we talk daily, she’s just checking on my spirit.’

Not long after his 10th child was born, an Us Weekly source dished: ‘Mariah doesn’t keep up with Nick’s babies and baby mamas. There’s too many to keep up with! She’s happy for him and wishes him the best.’
