Mark Wahlberg keeps it casual as he touches down in Sydney on a private jet to film new movie

Mark Wahlberg was spotted touching down at Sydney Airport via private jet on Friday.

The American actor, 52, cut a casual figure in a white T-shirt and blue trousers as he disembarked the luxury aircraft after the long flight.

He kept comfortable in a pair of black and white trainers and completed his look with a grey baseball cap.

Mark toted his essentials in a black backpack as he arrived in Australia, where he is believed to be filming a new movie.

He was seen enjoying a coffee outside the airport before he was greeted by a friend, and the pair shared a hug upon his arrival.

Mark is thought to be heading up to the Gold Coast to film a movie, but little is known about the mystery project.

The Ted star’s upcoming projects include Six Billion Dollar Man and The Roman, while he recently also starred in Arthur the King and The Family Plan.

Mark has previously visited Australia on a business trip and has gushed over his love for the country.

MailOnline has contacted Mark’s representatives for comment.

His latest travels come after Mark recently joked about not being asked to star in a hilarious Dunkin’ Donuts advert with fellow Bostonians Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

The advert debuted during Super Bowl LVIII earlier this month, and saw Ben, Matt and Tom Brady playing the role of a fictional boy band, the DunKings, as they tried to impress Jennifer Lopez and others.

However, it all backfired as Jennifer appeared unimpressed as her real-life husband Ben and his band put on a mock performance, complete with some horribly organized dance moves.

While on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert this week, Mark was asked why he didn’t featured in the advert, since he too is famously from the Boston area.

‘You know, I was wondering the same thing,’ he said, while trying to keep a straight face and not laugh. ‘I have no idea. I’m from the wrong side of the tracks, I think.’

With a grin on his face, he told the host that he’s been ‘trying to work my way into their good graces,’ before adding that he thought the advert was ‘very, very funny’.

He added: ‘I think, hopefully, they’ll give me the call one of these days, but I’m still waiting patiently.’
