Marla Maples enjoyed the summer sunshine on Thursday as she showed off her athletic skills during a softball game in Central Park.
The 53-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump looked happier than ever to be back home in New York after a series of summer vacations that included a European getaway with her 23-year-old daughter Tiffany Trump and a road trip with some of her friends.
Marla has been spending her summer playing softball with her Broadway Show League team ‘Kinky Boots’, and she proudly wore her black and red jersey featuring her last name and the number 13 on the back.

The mother-of-one met her teammates at Heckscher Ballfields for the 11:30 a.m. game against the team ‘Groundhog Day’, and she had her blonde waves pulled back in a ponytail that was tucked into a baseball cap for part of the game.
In addition to her jersey, which she wore open and tied at her waist, Marla donned cropped black leggings, bright Nike sneakers, and aviator sunglasses to shield her eyes form the sun.
At one point, Marla was seen chatting with a photographer who was taking her picture. The two were seen talking on the sidelines during the game, although it is unclear if she knew him or was just being friendly.
Marla has been preparing for the playoffs for the past week with some extra batting practice, and her hard work paid off.

However, despite her and her team’s efforts, they ended up losing the game.
After spending some time out of the city, Marla returned to the batting cages last Wednesday to prepare for her team’s upcoming playoff games.
Marla Maples loves yoga, softball, and hanging upside down, and she combined all of her athletic interests as she demonstrated the art of the ‘baseball handstand’ in a short video she shared on Instagram.
In the clip, the mother-of-one demonstrates how she places her hands on the opposite sides of the bat as she lowers herself to to the ground.
‘Baseball handstands. Okay here we go,’ she says as she kicks her legs up into the air, resting them on the back wall of the batting cage.
‘Toes pointed,’ she says, as she remains upside down. However, her orange baseball helmet stays firmly on her head.

Marla went on to thank her friend, former Miss Australia Melissa Hannan, for checking batting practice off her bucket list with her.
Many of Marla’s commenters were impressed with her handstand; however, there were a few people who pointed out that it looked like she had ripped her pants.

Last week, Marla and Melissa were on a road trip with singer Jimmy Demers, and the threesome stopped by Newport, Rhode Island, to visit Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan’s home and see her mother Estella.
When they were in Narragansett, Rhode Island, they struck a pose in front of the ocean, with Marla donning a white baseball cap featuring the name Mirage IV, the yacht she and her daughter Tiffany Trump lived on as guests while traveling the Italian coast last month.

Marla and Jimmy also stopped in Connecticut where they met up with actor James Van Der Beek, his wife Kimberly, and their four children.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for Marla, who spent a great deal of July traveling throughout Italy with her 23-year-old daughter Tiffany.
Marla and Tiffany traveled to the Italian islands of Capri, Ponza, and Elba as guests on the Mirage IV yacht, which eventually dropped them off in Portofino.
At the end of their luxurious seaside vacation, which was filled with sunbathing, jet-skiing, sightseeing, they toured Rome together before returning to their homes in New York City.
