Marni Little opens up about Dan Ewing’s assault charges

In 2011, former Home And Away actor Dan Ewing, 32, was charged with assaulting his then-fiancée, Marni Little, during a dispute at their Northern Beaches home.

And although the charges were later dropped, on Saturday, Marni took to social media to draw attention to the past altercation.

Taking to Instagram to use the ‘#METOO’ hashtag on an article that saw a direct quote from Dan reading; ‘I don’t regret a thing’, the 34-year-old revealed that after two years of silence she wanted to speak up.

Opening up: After Dan Ewing was charged for assaulting his then-fiancee Marni Little in 2011, on Saturday, she broke her silence and slammed the star for his actions

‘After two-years of one-sided articles I wanted to speak up,’ she exclusively told Daily Mail Australia.

‘I was protecting my son by not giving interviews earlier but repeated requests to leave us out of Dan’s media have been refused.’

Taking to Instagram, the brunette beauty posted a photo of the ‘I don’t regret a thing’ TV Week cover and captioned shocked and confused emoji faces with the captions, ‘Not a thing?’ and ‘#METOO’ – the viral phrase that’s recently been used to denounce assault and harassment.
