Married At First Sight: Bride Aleksandra Markovic looks nervous on wedding day

There are just 12 days to go until Married At First Sight returns. 

And Daily Mail Australia can offer an exclusive look at the wedding of one of the couples: Aleksandra Markovic and Ivan Sarakula.

The pair exchanged vows in Western Sydney on September 12, and the first signs are that they appear to be mismatched.

Aleksandra, 31, who previously appeared on Take Me Out in 2018, wore a white lace wedding dress while walking out of the church.

The backless gown featured intricate detailing throughout and a high neck design.

She clutched a bouquet of flowers and was also followed by a female producer.

They were joined by a third woman in a black dress, who is believed to be one of Aleksandra’s bridesmaids.

Aleksandra didn’t seem too happy on her big day, and it’s possible her first meeting with Ivan hadn’t lived up to her expectations.

Ivan, 30, also looked nervous – which is understandable given that he’d signed up to marry a complete stranger.

The sockless groom was seen chatting to his groomsmen and appeared to have worry etched on his face.

While it’s unclear how the wedding itself went, the couple appeared to loosen up a little throughout the course of the day.

Ivan wrapped a hand around Aleksandra’s arm at one stage, and was later seen drinking a beer next to his bride as she smiled.

The same clip showed him spraying deodorant on his feet, which suggests he is getting a ‘goofy’ edit like season five’s Troy Delmege.
