And some Married At First Sight fans have noted the similarity between the bride and a character from The Muppets called Janice.
The puppet is known for her dramatic makeup and huge lips, as well as very full lashes.
‘Sorry just had to say Melinda has a strong resemblance to a Muppet. No malice but just what I see with them big lips’ wrote one fan in a MAFS Facebook group.
‘I love Mel but did think same’ agreed someone in the comments, with another adding, ‘Every time I watch her I see the same’.

Fans on Twitter have noticed the similarity too, with one comparing Melinda and her groom, Layton Mills, to the robot C-3PO from Star Wars.
Another joked that that beauty was in a bad mood, again using Janice from the Muppets as a comparison.
Melinda and Layton have been one of Married At First Sight’s greatest success stories.
The two walked hand in hand after exchanging their emotional vows on Sunday night, during which they declared their love for one another.
