Married At First Sight: Stacey Hampton and Hayley Vernon reignite feud over Michael Goonan

Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton and Hayley Vernon reignited their feud on Sunday as past participants returned to the show for the girls’ and boys’ nights.

After Vanessa Romito claimed to have video evidence of Hayley and Michael Goonan’s kiss after witnessing it herself, Stacey still refused to believe his alleged betrayal.

The women came to blows when Vanessa later admitted to lying about the evidence, hoping Michael would’ve admitted to ‘cheating’ if he believed there was a video.

Meanwhile, Michael, who still denies kissing Hayley, came under fire from the other grooms over the scandal, but the episode mostly focused around the brides.

The girls’ night descended into chaos shortly after Hayley and Vanessa arrived, along with other former brides Cathy Evans, Amanda Micallef and Poppy Jennings.

After Hayley once again admitted to kissing Michael during a break in production, Vanessa said she witnessed it, but admitted she had lied about having evidence.

Still not believing Michael cheated, Stacey raged: ‘Vanessa doesn’t have a video, she’s been telling everybody she has a video, she is now a pathological liar.

‘The video is not real, and if you want to drag Michael’s name through the mud – you might want to get him in here. Vanessa, you’re not credible now.’

Vanessa explained: ‘The reason I said I had a video was to try and get Michael to confess to what he did. I made up a white lie. I just said it because I wanted Michael to actually admit what he did. It didn’t bloody work, this is why I don’t lie.’

Bringing the conversation back to the kiss itself, Hayley said: ‘I think the whole video has been blown out of proportion, it was just circumstantial evidence. Is anybody listening to the girl who had her tongue down somebody else’s throat?’

Stacey said she refuses to believe the accusations without any evidence because she’s ‘a lawyer’ – prompting Hayley to question her apparent legal career.

Hayley laughed: ‘Where did you get your law degree? Out of a cereal box? You’re 25 and have had two kids, have you practiced? Please.’

Stacey hit back: ‘You think you’re so high and mighty, you’re such a liar. You’re a bulldog. I just got admitted to the bar – I’m not allowed to practice law.’

The pair continued to fight, with Hayley responding: ‘You’re not a lawyer, you’ve just studied. Would you like a tissue or a box?’

Stacey spat back: ‘I’d rather you just f**k off, everyone would be much happier.’

Getting in the last word, Hayley laughed: ‘I object!’

The episode then ended with Vanessa accusing Stacey of her own infidelity.

Vanessa said to producers: ‘I do think Stacey is a bit of a fool to come here in front of everybody and have her ‘husband’s’ back – but I’m assuming she has a much bigger secret that she’s hiding from him.’

When asked what exactly she was alluding to by a producer, Vanessa mused: ‘Probably that she’s hooked up with somebody else.’

The girls’ and boys’ night reunions continue during Monday’s episode of the show.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
