Married At First Sight stars Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant are expecting their second child: ‘I never lost faith’

Married At First Sight stars Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant are expecting their second child.

Jules, 43, made the announcement in an interview with this week’s Stellar Magazine, saying she and Cameron, 40, couldn’t be happier after several years of trying to get pregnant.

‘We’ve been trying since our son Ollie was one and he is now three-and-a-half. We were going into 2024 thinking, “If it doesn’t happen, we will look at IVF”,’ she explained.

‘But I never lost faith that my body could do this again.’

Jules revealed she is 20 weeks pregnant and that this pregnancy has been easier than her first one for several surprising reasons.

‘When I was pregnant the first time, I didn’t like all of the attention and the negativity from horrible people about my body.

‘This time round, it has been really lovely. I can’t hide it anymore. I am popped. It has been nice keeping it between family and friends and a bit more private this time.’

Jules and Cameron met and fell in love in front of the cameras during series six of MAFS in 2019.

In September, Cameron shared a moving tribute to Jules to mark their five-year anniversary.

The former reality star posted a gallery of loved-up wedding pictures from 2018 to Instagram, and captioned it with heartfelt words.

‘I want a person who comes into my life by accident, but stays on purpose. It’s been five years since I met my best friend Jules and got married sight unseen,’ he began.

‘Still feel it was one of the best days I’ve ever experienced… and never would you think that in some of these photos we’ve only known each other for hours.

‘There was something special, kind, supportive & warm about our first connection and it’s only become stronger. So very grateful for you, our experiences & support & love we have created for each other,’ he added.

The couple married for real in November 2019 and welcomed son Oliver in September the following year.

She later revealed on her podcast that after discovering her chances of having another boy were high, she decided to do everything she could to try to conceive a girl.
