In her Season 8 cameo, Marilyse met Lucy Mecklenburgh for coffee where she explained she had been working in a Manchester nightclub on a night Lucy’s then boyfriend Mario had been accused of cheating on her with Amy.
Lucy explained she had people telling her conflicting events of the night.
Defending Mario, Marilyse explained: ‘Mario was there with his friends, he was sat in the same seat all night, just with a group of lads.
‘She was fighting past people to sit next to him. He didn’t look too happy about it.
‘He was alone, he kept himself to himself. He wasn’t holding any girls hands’.

Amy later hit back at Marilysse on Twitter writing: ‘So fuming just watched towie with this daft old bag who knows s**t! Was you there girl?? I’m not about to make up s**t u sad act! Ewwwww. Lucy also took to Twitter to defend Marilyse writing: ‘Mario didn’t ask Maz to speak to me she contacted the show & me as she new the truth .. She had nothing to gain’.

It comes after fans discovered fellow Married at First Sight star Morag Crichton, 31, previously appeared on Take Me Out.
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to recognise the veterinary nurse, 31, from the 2018 series of Take Me Out.
The reality contestant appeared on Paddy McGuinness’ ITV show three years ago but it seems she didn’t find lasting love on the series.

In last night’s episode, Marilyse tied the knot with Dubai expat and strength and conditioning coach Franky, 47.
The mum of Calum, 15, and Josh, 13, ‘strong minded and strong willed’ ahead of her wedding and described her two teenage sons as her ‘best friends’.
‘They look after me and I look after them we’re really close it has been hard being a single mum,’ she explained.
‘I would love to go through the experiment and at the end still be with the guy. That is what I want to happen and what I expect to happen. I will be a bit disappointed if that doesn’t happen, but we’ll have to wait and see,’ she said.
‘Sometimes in life you have to take chances, so me being me, I did just that!’
