Married At First Sight: What fans DIDN’T see at the girls’ night

The ‘disrespectful’ jokes about wife swapping during the boys’ night caused plenty of drama at the group dinner party on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

But Tracey Jewel has now confessed that what the wives had discussed during their girls’ night was not much better.

Revealing the brides played a similar ‘who’s hot/who’s not’ type game, the 35-year-old hinted that Charlene Perera had blown the men’s conversation out of proportion.

Married At First Sight’s Tracey Jewel (third from right) has confessed that the wives’ discussion during their girls’ night was not much better than the boys’ bawdy jokes about ‘wife swapping’

In an interview with TV Week on Thursday, Tracey suggested that the girls’ night also featured some eyebrow-raising discussions, but they did not make it to air.

She recalled: ‘We played the game, “Who would you kiss, who would you marry, who would you kill?” That was the type of game we played.’

While Tracey agreed Charlene was perfectly entitled to discuss what had happened, she believed her exposé of the boys’ night was taken too far.

‘Boys’ night is just the guys having a few drinks and a laugh,’ she said. ‘I think Dean says things before thinking, especially after a few drinks, and when it’s taken out of the context of boys’ night, it looks a lot worse than it is.

‘Boys’ night is a boys’ night, just like the girls’ night. We all say things with our girls that are supposed to stay at girls’ night.’

It comes after Patrick Miller told the Today show on Thursday he was ‘outcasted’ by the other husbands after telling his wife Charlene about the wife swapping jokes.

‘I decided to let Charlene know what was going on at boys’ night and I didn’t expect the response, especially from the guys in the group,’ he explained.

At Wednesday’s dinner party, Dean said he was ‘disappointed’ in Patrick for sharing details of their discussion, as he was ripped into by Charlene for his comments.
