Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven and Sam Carraro came to blows during Wednesday night’s episode, as the dinner party descended into chaos.

The grooms, who had an altercation earlier in the episode, clashed again at the dinner table, with an enraged Bryce, 31, throwing a glass of water at Sam.

The assault came after Sam, 32, questioned Bryce about his relationship with Melissa Rawson, and claimed that he had seen her crying on the balcony several times.

‘Every time I walk out of my room, I see Melissa crying… I don’t know if you’ve poked her in the eyes with your big nose or not,’ Sam told Bryce.

Bryce then decided to move closer to Sam, before calling him a ‘compulsive liar’.

Sam claimed he didn’t remember exactly when he saw Melissa crying, before he hit back: ‘You’ve got the personality for doormat and that’s an insult to doormats.’

Sam continued to throw insults at the former radio presenter, before Bryce got up and decided to end the argument by throwing water at him, before storming off.

Their heated scuffle came after the pair clashed earlier in the episode.

‘I’ve heard you got a problem… address it please,’ Sam called out to Bryce from across the room.

‘Why don’t we do it inside? Because I could be f**king hours,’ Bryce responded.

‘You don’t need to swear,’ Sam replied, before telling Bryce to address the problem.

Sam explained that he thought Bryce was ‘out of line’ when he called him out during the show’s previous commitment ceremony.

Bryce said he disliked Sam for ‘disrespecting’ his bride, Coco Stedman, during the the last commitment ceremony.

During the heated argument, Bryce asked Coco how she felt about Sam’s actions, to which Rebecca Zemek told him to ‘fight his own fight’.

‘Do you need the whole of Australia to hold your hand, Gonzo?’ Sam then asked, referring to the Muppets character with the big beak.

Married At First Sight continues on Thursday at 7.30pm on Nine
