Married At First Sight’s Ella Ding responds to rumours she’s reunited with her ex Mitch Eynaud

Married At First Sight star Ella Ding has opened up about reuniting with her ex Mitch Eynaud.

The 27-year-old revealed on her Sit With Us podcast, she recently met up with Mitch on the Gold Coast as friends.

‘Mitch and I caught up in Queensland, it had been nearly a year… It’s as simple as this,’ Ella told co-host Domenica Calarco.

‘Mitch and I shared an amazing time. It’s nearly been a year, the dust has settled and we wanted to catch up,’ she explained.

‘We got to reminisce and it was so nice. We weren’t hiding anything,’ she added.

It comes after Ella recently confirmed to a fan on Facebook she had met up with Mitch on the Gold Coast to get ‘closure’.

‘Mitch and I caught up when I was in the GC which was nice to have some closure and just have the chat as we never did,’ she explained.

‘I’ve always said I like to remain amicable with my past people I let in,’ she continued, before revealing she plans to do a deep dive on her reunion with Mitch on an upcoming episode of her podcast.

Ella has come a long way since the show first wrapped, when she publicly trashed Mitch in the media.

The 29-year-old spoke to The Handbags podcast in April about her ill-fated marriage to Mitch and took several digs at him.

‘He is a commitment-phobe. He’s afraid of committing,’ Ella bluntly told hosts Michael Brunelli and Josh Moss.

It comes after Ella recently confirmed to a fan on Facebook she had met up with Mitch on the Gold Coast to get ‘closure’ 

‘I’ve dated a lot of men, and I am good at reading people… I have never met anyone like Mitchell. He is wired so differently.’

Calling him ‘the coldest person I’ve ever met’, Ella concluded: ‘Mitch has been the worst guy I’ve ever dated.’

Ella and Mitch were one of the most popular couples on season nine of MAFS.
