She won over fans by showing a more vulnerable side to her former flame Sam Ball in Sunday night’s reunion episode.
And Ines Basic, 29, broke down in tears on Monday night’s Married At First Sight finale as she revealed how Sam broke her heart.
‘I didn’t expect to fall for Sam the way I did. I’ve gone through life fending for myself so it’s really hard for me to open up to a man,’ she told the ‘experts’ while openly crying.

‘I chose to see the best in him (Sam), but, like Elizabeth did say, he says one thing and does another. It’s sad because, some of the things he promised me were huge,’ Ines said.

The legal assistant said both she and Elizabeth, 27, were treated badly by Sam – before Elizabeth said she now ‘appreciated’ Ines much more for having her back.
Ines rallied around the furious Elizabeth after Sam failed to appear at the grand finale of the show.
‘Elizabeth deserves closure. She had some sort of connection and a relationship there,’ the 29-year-old said.

Elizabeth was forced to watch footage of Ines and her ‘husband’ cheating behind her back.
Elizabeth fumed as she watched Ines confess to ‘seeing herself fall in love with Sam’ earlier in the season.
But the two bonded over the fact they were both spurned by Sam, sharing the Married At First Sight couch together to talk things out.

Openly crying, Ines said she ‘didn’t expect to fall in love with Sam the way’ she did – while Elizabeth then said her level of appreciation for Ines had changed during her emotional speech.
Burying her head in her hands, she expressed her sadness that the Sydney tradie could not be there to have his say.
It comes after reports emerged her weight plummeted to 41kg when she filmed the show’s reunion in January.
According to news.com.au, Ines was also in therapy and taking Valium to treat her ‘chronic anxiety and PTSD’.
