Married At First Sight’s Ines Basic slams ‘desperate and irrelevant’ Jessika Power and Martha Kalifatidis as she reignites the trio’s ongoing feud
Ines Basic has slammed her former Married At First Sight co-stars in a scathing post.
The Bosnian bride made it clear that she’s no longer friendly with Jessika Power or Martha Kalifatidis in an Instagram Q&A with fans.
‘Do you still talk to anyone from MAFS?’ a fan asked. ‘I swear to god, you, Jessika and Martha were the girl power team.’

Not mincing words, Ines fired back: ‘One is so irrelevant the desperation is cringeworthy, the other needs some humbling and perspective of the real world.’
‘In no particular order,’ she added, followed by a blushing heart-faced emoji.
Ines and Martha had a close bond on season six of Married At First Sight, but they abruptly cut ties after filming wrapped in early 2019.
And back in January, Ines revealed the real reason she and the Greek goddess are no longer friends.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at the time, Ines explained: ‘The fall out was just petty girl stuff and it got out of hand when I asked her if we could have a chat about it.’
Ines said that after asking Martha if she wanted to sort out any differences they had, Martha said that she ‘didn’t need to explain herself.’
‘I took that as in, if you were a true friend you would be open to having a level headed chat about it,’ she continued.

After that, Martha told KIIS 106.5 that their feud started because Ines wasn’t invited to the 2019 Logies – while she and her boyfriend, Michael Brunelli, were.
‘Michael and I were walking to the after-party. Ines walked up to me and she pretended to throw up on me,’ Martha said.
She claimed she’d greeted Ines civilly, and was upset when her former co-star dry-wretched in her direction. This snub, she said, was the start of their falling out.
‘I couldn’t understand what was going on. I had no idea what was going on because as far as I was concerned we were all friends,’ Martha told the breakfast show.
But Ines insists that wasn’t the case, saying: ‘I didn’t pretend to vomit on her for no reason, I don’t think anyone reacts that way for no apparent reason, so that’s the story behind that.’

‘It didn’t have anything to do with her being invited to the Logies, I think she may just use that as a reasoning to not have to talk about the petty drama which I get.’
‘It’s all really just stupid immature stuff that could have been handled better but I think we are both well past it and probably over hearing about it.’
Meanwhile, Ines kept a strong friendship with blonde bombshell Jessika Power up until the filming of the recent Grand Reunion Special in January.
During the episode, Jessika was viciously attacked by Cyrell Paule, who threw a glass of wine in her face.
Jessika was upset by the incident, and felt that Ines had taken Cyrell’s side in their falling out instead of hers.
