Married At First Sight’s Melissa Lucarelli hyperventilates after ‘FORGETTING’ to pack her wedding dress just hours before the big day in tearful meltdown

After going celibate for eight years, Melissa Lucarelli’s wedding was set to be one of the most important days of her life.

And it seems the pressure got to the Married At First Sight contestant, who had a tearful meltdown in the car just hours before the ceremony in Tuesday’s episode.

The hysterical TV presenter, 38, began hyperventilating and forced her driver to pull over on the freeway after becoming convinced she’d forgotten to pack her wedding dress.

Oh dear! Married At First Sight’s Melissa Lucarelli hyperventilates in the car after ‘FORGETTING’ her wedding dress just hours before the big day in hysterical meltdown

The day kicked off with a stressful bang as Melissa slept in, meaning she was already running late by two hours.

And sitting in the back of the car, she became agitated as she tried to remember if she’d packed the dress.

‘I’ve definitely got the dress. It’s in my… Oh God I don’t know,’ she said, becoming tearful.

She covered her face with her hands and began hyperventilating as she said: ‘I think because I’m so stressed out… I don’t know if I’ve brought my wedding dress.’

Melissa then got the driver to stop at an emergency pullover and frantically rifled through her suitcase – before breathing a sigh of relief when she saw her bridal gown neatly packed away.

Earlier in the episode, she had a meltdown while trying on dresses and went running back into the change room after declaring find the perfect wedding dress was ‘everything’.

She was then seen crying hysterically in the change room, claiming she was ‘stressed out’ she wouldn’t find the perfect dress.

Her sister rubbed her back and consoled: ‘I know. It’s emotional. We’re going to make sure it’s perfect, okay?’

On the morning of her wedding to Dino, Melissa slept in, leaving her running two hours behind schedule.

‘I think I’ve locked myself out of my apartment. Whoops,’ she said, as she frantically rummaged through her bags.

But she was able to see the funny side, laughing and declaring the mishap ‘so me’.

Melissa then got lost in her own apartment building, claiming it was because she had ‘just moved in’.

Unable to find the exit, she ended up in the building’s carpark with all of her suitcases in tow.

Getting flustered, she then stood in front of the electronic garage door, waving her arms around while asking how it opened.

Eventually, a car pulled up and opened the door, leaving Melissa with an escape route out of her garage.
