Married At First Sight’s Seb Guilhaus and Elizabeth Sobinoff worry their relationship won’t last

‘I might have stronger, closer feelings than she has’: Married At First Sight’s Seb Guilhaus and Elizabeth Sobinoff worry their relationship won’t last outside of the experiment

After whisking ‘wife’ Elizabeth Sobinoff off to the Jamala Wildlife Lodge for their final date on Tuesday’s episode on Married At First Sight, Seb Guilhaus admitted he was worried his feelings were stronger than hers.

The loved-up couple were enjoying a bubble bath together, when talk turned to their insecurities about their fledgling romance.

‘I am worried. I’m worried that I don’t know how to make it work outside the experiment,’ confessed Lizzie, 29.

But she told an emotional Seb, 30, he had definitely been knocking down the ‘walls’ she had built up.

‘It’s been absolutely amazing. I’m just feeling so comfortable with you and comfortable with myself,’ she added.

Lizzie admitted she felt ‘very cautious’ and was ‘guarded’ when she first met Seb, following her disastrous marriage to Sam Ball on last year’s season.

But she acknowledged continuing their relationship on the outside world could be challenging.

‘I know my track record, because if it gets hard or if life just gets in the way, I really could have something great with you, but then I’ve just not put in the hard work and just let it go. And I’m scared of that,’ she confessed.

Her candid admission left Seb wondering if he was more committed to their relationship than she was.

‘I worry that we’ll drift back into our separate lives if we don’t keep up the communication, 100 percent,’ he told her.

He added: ‘It’s a huge decision coming up, and I’m actually really, really scared.

‘I might have stronger, closer feelings than she has. But, if you’re guarded, there’s no closeness that can be achieved.’

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
