Married At First Sight’s Tracey Jewel reveals plans to move to America within a YEAR

She has faced accusations of being a ‘part-time mother’ after revealing – and later backing out of – plans to leave her daughter in Perth and relocate 2,700 kilometres away to Melbourne.

And Tracey Jewel raised questions about her parenting skills again over the weekend, after expressing her intentions to move to America within a year to further her career as a self-help writer.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Saturday, the 35-year-old shared a glimpse of the ‘vision board’ she had prepared after attending a life coach seminar hosted by Tony Robbins in Cairns.

What about her daughter? Married At First Sight’s Tracey Jewel has revealed plans to move to America within a YEAR… leaving her little girl Grace in Perth with her father and stepmother

On the vision board – which is a textual and visual ‘map’ of a person’s life objectives often used in self-help programs – Tracey included in her list of goals to achieve within one year: ‘Move to US’.

It is unclear what this planned overseas move will mean for Tracey’s daughter, Grace.

Tracey has previously revealed that Grace is very much settled in Perth, where she attends school and lives with her father, stepmother and step-siblings.

In a statement, Tracey’s publicist Max Markson claimed she would be travelling to America to promote her new book, This Goddess Means Business, later this year.

However, he did not comment specifically on his client’s apparent plans to ‘move’ stateside on a more permanent basis.

Earlier this year, Tracey announced in an interview with New Idea that she would be moving from Perth to Melbourne to live with her then-boyfriend Sean Thomsen.

Many fans were left baffled by her decision to relocate across the country when she has a daughter in WA, but Tracey later defended her decision in an article for News.com.au.

She wrote in April: ‘There’s a lot more opportunities in Melbourne than there are in Perth… I’m doing what is best for both of us’.

Controversy: Earlier this year, Tracey revaled plans to move from Perth - where her daughter lives with her father and stepmother - to Melbourne alongside her then-boyfriend Sean Thomsen

In the end, her interstate move never happened. Tracey abandoned the plans within a few week, before later confirming she had split with Sean in mid-May.

Of course, Tracey is not the only former Married At First Sight contestant to move across the country despite having children living with a former partner.

Telv Williams’ two children with his ex, Amy, still live in Perth, but that didn’t stop him relocating to Melbourne earlier this year.
