World number one tennis player Ash Barty has been proposed to by a superfan after winning the Adelaide International on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was signing autographs in the crowd after the win when the man popped the question.
‘Ash will you marry me,’ the cheeky fan says.
‘I’m sorry I can’t do that my friend,’ Barty fired back with ease.

During her post match press conference, the Queenslander was asked about the interaction.
‘It was my first marriage proposal,’ she said.
‘I said ‘mate I’m not really available at the moment’ but it is incredible the support I get from the Aussie fans.’
‘And I love that there is a little bit of Aussie humour as well. I love that banter but sorry mate not this time.’
Barty’s win at the Adelaide International is her first win of a major title in Australia.
She will now start her Australian Open campaign when the tournament begins in Melbourne on Monday.
She will play world number 120 Lesia Tsurenko from Ukraine on centre court on Monday night.
