Mason Mount has been ruled out until the international break after the Manchester United midfielder sustained an injury during their 2-0 defeat against Tottenham.
Man United confirmed the injury is likely to rule Mount out of Saturday’s match against Nottingham Forest.
Mount also looks set to miss the Red Devils away clash against rivals Arsenal on September 3.
‘The small complaint is expected to keep Mount out until the international break next month,’ a Man United statement read.
‘The England midfielder has started both of our Premier League games so far this season after making his competitive debut for the club in last week’s 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.’
