There’s been rumours that Karl Stefanovic may soon be replaced on Channel Nine’s Today show.
And now, a new report from The Daily Telegraph claims that a shake up may also be in store over at Channel Seven’s Sunrise.
On Sunday, the paper claimed that rising network star Matt Doran ‘is one of the contenders’ tipped to replace Sunrise co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch late next year.

Kochie, 62, has co-hosted Sunrise since 2002 and his contract reportedly ends in late 2019.
Meanwhile, 34-year-old Matt, is currently based in Los Angeles where he is a correspondent for Seven’s Sunday night.
However, The Daily Graph quotes an ‘insider’ as saying he’s ‘tipped for bigger things’.

Matt has spent time filling in for Kochie on previous occasions and he enjoys a natural rapport with Sunrise co-stars Samantha Armytage, Natalie Barr and Mark Beretta.
It seems things are not only flourishing in the reporter’s professional life, but also in his personal life.

The Daily Telegraph claims that ‘insiders’ say Matt is romancing Seven’s new US bureau chief, Ashlee Mullany.
Ashlee, 29, scored the plum promotion earlier this month, less than three years after making the switch to television from print journalism.
Matt previously dated MasterChef star Justine Schofield, from whom he split in mid 2017.
