Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara ‘are divorcing’: Bombshell audio allegedly has sparked separation

In Italy everyone has always been crazy for the great tormented love stories, and today the media are reporting – and gossiping about – the sensational divorce between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara, his agent and wife.

According to Corriere della Sera, Nara and Icardi are experiencing a second stormy crisis after eight years of marriage. Audio is circulating, attributed to Nara, in which there is talk of divorce – but the Argentine striker denies this.

This crisis between the two stars of gossip columns has very distant roots and the couple have been filling the pages of newspapers for years more for sentimental situations than for work opportunities.

‘Wandagate’ could therefore conclude one of the most passionate relationships in the world of sport after the earthquake of the alleged betrayal of Icardi with the model China Suarez a few months ago. The rupture and media crisis of recent months may have proven to be too complicated to mend.

According to the program Los Angeles de la Manana, broadcast on American TV and hosted by Angel de Brito, Nara has asked for the separation, as per the sensational audio broadcast by the program.

In the audio Nara, ex-wife of Argentine striker Maxi Lopez, is allegedly heard confirming that she is starting the practice to permanently separate from Icardi, saying: ‘I came to Argentina because I am divorcing Mauro. I am planning a divorce at the moment. I will remain a few more days and then I’ll come back to get everything I need, I’m organising things for the divorce because I can’t take it anymore’.

Icardi denies this and is using social networks to defend himself. The PSG striker put up a profile photo with a passionate kiss with Wanda Nara and published a story with the words: ‘I don’t know who makes me more sorry between those who invent things about my life and those who believe in them.’ Unfortunately, the television bomb that was dropped in Argentina created an earthquake.

According to Corriere della Sera, Icardi and Nara in divorce would share assets of around €60million. Nara is the sole owner of the company World Marketing Football with which she manages two economic activities related to her husband: the ‘MI9’ brand by Mauro Icardi and ‘Wan Collection’, a clothing line and cosmetics with which she began to collaborate in 2017.

A few months later Nara opened another business, ‘Wanda Cosmetics’, which would be disconnected from Icardi. The mooted transfer of Icardi from PSG to Monza fuels the possibility the rumours are true.

His family crisis would push the striker to leave Paris. In Milan his family still owns an apartment and in the event of a divorce Icardi would be very close to the city where his family will probably return to live.

Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza to date has bought good players to play in Serie A such as Alessio Cragno and Andrea Carboni from Cagliari, Matteo Pessina from Atalanta and Stefano Sensi from Inter.

Signing Marlon, a Brazilian defender with a lot of experience in Barcelona and Sassuolo, is a great message to the whole of Serie A but the signing of Mauro Icardi would be essential for a team immediately ready for European football.

Despite making few appearances in the PSG team in recent years, Icardi could be once again among Serie A’s top goalscorers: he is a killer of the penalty area, albeit with a few more years and with a few pounds of rust now on him.

The growth decree passed by the Italian government helps Monza to cultivate the Icardi dream. Returning to Italy the striker would get a tax discount on his salary that would allow him to earn very well and Monza to save a lot of money for at least two years.

Obviously Paris is not Monza, this Icardi knows well but the possibility of playing every match in Italy would allow him to get back in shape and aim straight for a return as a protagonist on the European scene.

Icardi owns two apartments in Milan: one is located a few steps from the San Siro stadium and includes a private swimming pool on the terrace while the other is located in the Porta Nuova district, in front of the Inter headquarters where he has recently invested a lot of money.

Also the proximity between Monza and Milan would help Icardi to stay close to his family and his beloved children: the driving distance is just 18km.

From Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi up to the triangle of Nicolo Zaniolo, Chiara Nasti and Mattia Zaccagni, love stories are often used in the beautiful country to tell the news. Icardi and Nara shows this once again.
