The event comes after Stormzy opened up on how his 2020 split from girlfriend of three years Maya inspired a wave of self-growth and realisation.
The rapper admitted that the split ‘showed me that I was a boy’, as he talked taking accountability in the two years since their break-up – which ended amid allegations that the musician had been unfaithful.
And his candid words comes after the former couple were spotted getting close earlier this month as they shared a hug while attending Kendrick Lamar’s concert at London’s O2 Arena.
Speaking to GQ, he said: ‘I think my break up with Maya was still really heavy on my heart. I’d never experienced a breakup and the feelings that come with a breakup.

Continuing on the changes he made, Stormzy admitted that he has now taken accountability for ‘disrespecting’ his former partner.
He explained: ‘What is the necessary work I have to do to make sure I’m not in this position again?
