An Australian foodie has shared his favourite McDonald’s McFlurry hack with the internet, combining the delicious ice cream with a hot apple pie from the franchise.

Adrian Widjy, who lives in Sydney, NSW, took to TikTok on Christmas Eve to share the scrumptious treat with his fans, calling it a ‘must do hack’.

He started by visiting Marrickville McDonald’s store and ordering an Oreo McFlurry and apple pie, alongside an orange juice and onion rings.

‘It doesn’t matter what kind of McFlurry you get, the hack will still work in the same way,’ he said.

Using a spoon Adrian heaped cold McFlurry vanilla ice cream into his hot apple pie, watching it melt slightly before taking a large bite.

He continued spooning the mixture into the fruit-filled pastry until both were finished.

‘Just trust me, it’s heaven,’ he said.

His loyal fanbase were initially sceptical about the flavour combination, with one individual commenting that they didn't 'even like apple pies'

‘Why didn’t I think of this sooner,’ one person commented.
