McDonald’s is giving away free Big Macs to celebrate International Burger Day.
The giveaway is being held through the McDonald’s Australia MyMaccas app, which is available for iOS and Android.
Starting at 11am on Monday May 28, lovers of the iconic Big Mac – which turned 50 this year – can claim one of 300,000 free burgers.

The free hamburgers will be limited to one per person, but will be available to both new and existing customers.
MyMaccas app users can claim their free Big Mac by logging in and selecting MyRewards, News.com.au reported.
The Big Mac was first launched in 1968, and McDonald’s has marked 50 years of sales with a limited-release Grand Big Mac.
McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Australia in 1968, at Yagoona in Sydney’s west.
The US burger chain now operates 950 stores across the country, employing over 100,000 people.
