McDonald’s introduces OAT milk to McCafé menu

McDonald’s FINALLY introduces one of the most in-demand menu items at McCafe – and coffee fans are delighted

McDonald’s customers are delighted after the fast food giant announced it will be adding oat milk to the McCafé menu.

The exciting news of the long-awaited inclusion of the cult favourite milk was shared to the restaurant’s official social media pages.    

‘Together, at last. MILKLAB Oat Milk has officially joined the McCafé line-up,’ the caption read on Facebook and Instagram.

In the comments McDonald’s confirmed additional charges will apply and the milk will be available at ‘participating restaurants’.

Hundreds of thrilled coffee fans flooded the comments and welcomed the news many had been waiting for. 

‘I have been waiting so long to get an iced vanilla latte with oat milk from Macca’s!’ one customer wrote.   

‘Thank god – it’s about time we have better options,’ another added. 

A third wrote: ‘That’s such great news!! I wish the lactose free/dairy free options were more widely available, across all Macca’s though.’

The restaurant locations with a McCafe would stock the oat milk, but an official list of locations is yet to be released. 

According to Heathline, oat milk is a great source of B vitamins, great for bone health and may lower blood cholesterol levels. 

Unlike cow’s milk, it’s naturally free of nuts, soy, and lactose, making it a perfect option for those who have allergies or intolerances. 

But certain oat milk variations can be high in sugar.
