McDonald’s Australia is adding a KitKat McFlurry to its menu on Wednesday July 22.

The new flavour has chunky pieces of KitKat chocolate swirled into the McDonald’s soft serve ice cream and is topped with chocolate hot fudge.

The KitKat buy will set customers back $5.40 and follows the release of the limited-edition caramel pie McFlurry that was launched in June.

The KitKat flavour also costs 45 cents more than the caramel pie McFlurry which cost $4.95.

Along with the release of the new ice cream, McDonald’s will also be launching a KitKat frappé priced at $5.50.

Similarly to the McFlurry, the frappé will have small pieces of KitKat blended into an iced chocolate drink that’s topped with whipped cream and more KitKat sprinkles.

Along with the release of the new ice cream, McDonald’s will also be launching a KitKat frappé priced at $5.50

After hearing the news on Facebook, customers already seem excited and eager to try it.

‘Looks like I’ll be adding it to my daily menu from tomorrow as well,’ one person joked.

‘Time to do a double gym session,’ another said, while a third added: ‘Well there goes my diet!’
