McDonald’s is releasing limited edition pots of Big Mac sauce so fast food fans can use them to dip their chips and nuggets.

The popular sauce, which was first introduced in 1972 is normally only supplied as part of a Big Mac.

But the firm, which has 1,200 restaurants in the UK serving three million people, will sell 50ml tubs of the sauce for 50p.

McDonald’s is going to sell its special Big Mac sauce for a limited period next month so fast food fans dip their nuggets and chips into the popular condiment

The fast food giant is planning to release a limited number of Big Mac special sauce containers. UK customers will be able to buy a 50ml container for 50p from February 12

However, fans seeking to bulk buy the limited edition condiment have been warned that it only has a seven-day shelf life.

A McDonald’s spokesman told The Sun: ‘A limited run of the pots will go on sale and is expected to quickly sell out with restaurant staff prepped for bulk orders and big queues.

‘The 50ml pots will retail for 50p each, will be available 24 hours a day, have a seven-day shelf life and when they’re gone they’re gone.’
