MDMA and meth worth almost $7million seized in a police raid – as officers charge three men with supplying drugs

Three men will face court on Friday charged with possession of a large quantity of drugs after they were caught with almost $7m worth of MDMA and methylampetamine.

Two men aged 25 and 28-years-old were arrested in a car park at Pendle Hill on Thursday following an extensive investigation in to the supply of drugs in Sydney.

The men and their car were searched by officers who discovered 5kg of MDMA, estimated to be worth around $1.5m.

NSW Police will allege in court on Friday that the two men were at the location to supply the drugs.

On Thursday, police also arrested another man, 32, a shopping centre at Strathfield, before raiding houses in Meadowbank, Granville and Parramatta.

They discovered an additional 10kg of methylamphetamine, 1kg of MDMA, drug paraphernalia, cash, mobile phones, and electronic devices. 

The addition seizures of drugs brought the total value of the haul to $6.8m.

 The 25-year-old man, from Granville, has been charged with four counts of supply of prohibited large commercial quantity.

The 28-year-old, from Meadowbank, has been charged with five counts supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity.

While the 32-year-old Parramatta man was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug large commercial quantity, two counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification, and recklessly deal in proceeds of crime.

All three were refused bail.
