Peeling garlic has proved a headache for many home cooks who have come up with genius solutions to make the process painless.

Previously, foodie Jenny Stewart, from the US, demonstrated her miracle garlic peeling method in a Youtube video.

All you need is fresh garlic and a microwave to remove the cloves from the peels without a knife.

Rather than wresting with the garlic, pop a whole head or a few cloves in the microwave on high for 20 seconds

The cloves will slip effortlessly right out of the peels and won't leave you with garlic-smelling fingers
