A makeup artist has revealed the one product she swears by for a natural look – but not all beauty lovers are keen to buy it.
Mecca employee Rach McDonald said she received compliments ‘all day’ from people who thought she was wearing foundation but she had only applied By Terry’s Brightening CC Serum.
The Melbourne beauty guru said the serum is the ‘perfect product’ for a no makeup look, however many were put off by the product’s $118 price tag.

‘I just got home from work at Mecca…and even though I’m a makeup artist there, I don’t actually wear any makeup,’ Rach said in a TikTok clip.
‘But today I had one specific product on my face that I had people asking me all day what foundation I was wearing, what makeup I was wearing on my skin.’
Rach said she wasn’t wearing any makeup but her skin was looking ‘airbrushed’, ‘glowy’ and ‘put together’ because she had used the By Terry serum in the Sunny Flash shade before her shift.
‘I’ve never had so many compliments, this stuff is beautiful,’ she said.
‘My skin just looks gorg and it has these light reflecting particles in it which literally airbrush your skin.’
Rach said the brightening serum is ‘the perfect product’ that can be worn under make up, especially in the sweaty summer months.
The product has also received hundreds of five-star reviews on the Mecca website.
Her video quickly went viral racking up thousands of views as makeup lovers were thankful for the beauty tip.

However others were shocked by the hefty price tag with one saying: ‘Someone find a dupe lol ain’t paying that.’
‘Ooo she’s pricey though,’ replied another while a third exclaimed: ‘In this economy?!’.
