While these comments are mostly innocent in nature, Jane has been forced to deal with her fair share of lewd messages in the past.

Earlier this month, Jane was forced to delete one of her Instagram posts after it received an avalanche of sexually explicit comments.

The photo showed Jane posing in her swimsuit while celebrating her 40th birthday at the beach in Noosa, Queensland.

After deleting the photo, Jane re-uploaded an edited version of the same image, this time cropped just below her neck.

The weather presenter is so popular that one fan even had her face tattooed on his rib cage in April last year.

As reported by the Geelong Advertiser, the super-fan known only as ‘Scott’ asked for the tattoo to be as discreet as possible so as not to upset his partner.

‘Scott wanted Jane first put on his pec, but after having a chat with his missus we decided to put it on his ribs,’ said tattoo artist Paul Blackhall.

‘That way in the event of an amorous moment she wouldn’t have to look at Jane all the time.’

Jane told the newspaper she was ‘quite flattered [the fan] had gone to that much trouble.’
