On Sunday night, the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm will go head to head in a bid to take home the ultimate prize in Australian rugby league.
And while the stars of the show will be on the field, many of them have wives and girlfriends in the stands who have been there for them throughout their entire sporting careers.

MELBOURNE STORM
Nicole Slater, wife of Billy Slater
One of the power couples of the NRL, Nicole and Billy Slater met when they were just 14 while at pony club.
But it wasn’t until 2004 that Billy decided to track down Nicole, who had ‘made an impression’, and get back in touch.
The pair married in Cairns in November, 2009, and share two children together – Tyla Rose, ten and Jake, eight.
Nicole is a talented artist and runs her business, Nicole Rose Art, where she sells her beautiful artworks and prints.

She has also previously spoken about Billy’s high profile and that while he has a host of followers, she sees him only as a ‘great husband and dad’ – not a superstar.
‘I can’t look at him how you may look at him or how everyone else does because at the end of the day he’s my husband and father of our two children,’ she told The Advertiser previously.
The pair is currently building a home in the country so they can enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle and surround themselves with what first brought them together: horses.
Bianca Chambers, wife of Will Chambers

They share daughter Kiara, 1, together and regularly share adoring photos of each other on their social media accounts including that they’re now expecting their second child.
The pair met in November, 2012, when Bianca’s best friend was dating Will’s cousin and they insisted they go on a date.

Barbara Smith, wife of Cameron Smith
Cameron and Barbara, who married in 2011, share three young children together, Jada, ten, Jasper, eight, and Matilda, six.
The pair are childhood sweethearts after meeting at school and have been inseparable ever since.
Speaking to the Herald Sun in 2015, Barbara described herself as Cameron’s ‘harshest on-field critic’ but said he did ‘put his family first, always’.

Casey Glasby first met Tim Glasby at North Rockhampton State School when he was in the grade above her.
She noticed him on the field during school rugby games and the pair hit it off at a party not long after.
Once Tim decided to pursue his career in NRL, the pair moved to Penrith before settling in Melbourne.

Tara Rushton, wife of Cooper Cronk
Tara Rushton, a Fox Sports presenter, and Cooper Cronk, have been romantically linked since June 2015 and married late last year.
And the past twelve months have been a mammoth ride for the couple, who welcomed their first child, son Lennox in July.
Shortly before they married, Cronk made the highly-publicised decision to leave the Melbourne Storm and move to Sydney to be with Tara – and the Roosters.
‘She loves Melbourne but the funny thing is, she’s worked really hard to get where she is,’ Cronk said in April.

Jemma Barge, girlfriend of Boyd Cordner
Today Show producer Jemma Barge was revealed earlier this year to be the woman who stole Boyd Cordner’s heart.
While there is no certainty surrounding how long the pair have been together, Barge was in Melbourne supporting her man for Origin game one earlier in 2018.
‘I don’t think you ever understand the pressure of it until you see someone who is in it. I’ve seen his world now and I have so much respect for him,’ she said of his outstanding performance at the time.

Amy Keary first met her now-husband Luke nearly a decade ago while the pair were in high school.
In the years since the pair have built a life together in Sydney and married in October 2017.
This year has also been memorable for the couple and saw the pair upgrade their home to a pad in Dover Heights, in the city’s beach side eastern suburbs.
