Perched upon mummy Zara’s shoulders and wrestling with her sunglasses, Lena Tindall was a picture of joy as she played in the sun at the horse trials at Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire, last weekend.
This was the first time the public had glimpsed Lena Elizabeth Tindall since her birth in June last year.
And, if these first snaps are anything to go by, the indications are she’s another feisty, free-spirited chip off the block, just like her older sister Mia.

Lady Louise Windsor was born prematurely in 2003. Now 15, she is always impeccably behaved on rare public outings.
Her father is Prince Edward, and her mother, Sophie Wessex, is close to the Queen. The family live a quiet life at Bagshot Park in Windsor Great Park.

For the last two years she has joined her great-grandmother on the Palace balcony after Trooping The Colour — with elder sister Savannah, eight, last year spotted covering Prince George’s mouth during the National Anthem.
Although the sisters attend large royal events, the Phillips family lead a very private life in London. Despite being 17th in line to the throne, Isla does not hold a royal title.
