Mr Henriksen first met Princess Mary during her first pregnancy with son Prince Christian, when the Australian-born royal called on him for skincare advice.
‘Based on her love affair with a number of my products, she invited me to her residence. I found her to be incredibly warm, personable and extremely beautiful – I was mesmerised by her beautiful smile and stunning sense of style,’ he said.
‘We spent quite a long time together, and I just felt happy for my fellow Danes that someday, Princess Mary will be our Queen.’
The renowned cosmetician works with the Crown Princess on Danish charity initiative Julemaerkefonden, which supports vulnerable and underprivileged children.
‘What really impresses me most about Princess Mary is how she connects with people, makes time for everyone and lives in the moment.
‘A couple of years ago we crossed paths at a Christmas event, and after all the formalities she took the time to personally meet the children, paint with them and give each special attention.’

‘Try to use creams proven to hydrate and firm to enhance your skin’s elasticity, and always make this the last step of your routine.
‘Nothing does it better than our Banana Bright Eye Creme ($54 AUD), which serves to illuminate and strengthen natural collagen with its added vitamin C – it’s makeup and eye care in one jar!
The beauty businessman stressed the link between a healthy, balanced diet and glowing skin, adding: ‘I’m a strong opponent of fast food of any kind – say goodbye to junk and discover colourful vegetables instead.’
Mr Henriksen emphasised the importance of drinking plenty of water, and said while you can still enjoy the occasional glass of wine, you must ‘hydrate, hydrate, hydrate’ in pursuit of your coveted complexion.
He is an advocate of keeping physically fit at all times, and believes exercise ’empowers you to enjoy life to the fullest’.

In addition to Denmark’s future Queen, the Danish skin guru counts songstresses Diana Ross, Katy Perry and Cher as regular clients, as well as stars of the silver screen including Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron and Sylvester Stallone.
He has been photographed at numerous events with fashion insiders and international models like Danish-born Nina Agdal.
When it comes to his ultra-famous clientele, Mr Henriksen said: ‘I always view it as an honour to have worked with so many celebrities – the list is a mile long.’
He also enjoyed a long-standing professional relationship with the late David Bowie.

Asked about the recipe for radiant skin, Mr Henriksen admitted there is no single answer.
‘Women who aim to have healthy skin year round must invest in a dedicated skincare routine, morning and night, to ensure the visage is hydrated both during the day and while you sleep.
‘Products which are appealing in terms of texture and scent like my vitamin C collection, Truth, are ideal for achieving a consistent glow.’
Mr Henriksen advocates nightly chemical exfoliation as part of your wider skincare routine, which can be achieved using products containing natural botanicals.
‘Another thing is to keep hydration levels up all day, so that skin takes on a healthy, dewy look – what we call the Ole Glow!’ he said.
‘Properly hydrated skin is elastic and acts as a protective environmental shield throughout the day.
‘My favorite products for this is a combination of our Truth Serum ($182 AUD) and C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme ($62 AUD).’
