Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are ‘on a break’ and have put a pause to their wedding planning in order to work on their issues according to a new report just days after it was said they need a ‘significant breakthrough’.
The 36-year-old actress and 32-year-old pop punk rapper (born Colson Baker) are said to be taking a sabbatical from their relationship but are still in communication according to sources for Us Weekly on Wednesday.
Insiders told the publication: ‘Megan and MGK are currently on a break but are still in contact. They are very hot and cold.’
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for both Fox and MGK and has yet to hear back.
As the power couple were engaged in January 2022 many have wondered what the status of the wedding currently is.

A source claimed: ‘They have stalled wedding planning to work on their issues.
‘Their relationship is pretty volatile at the moment. They are currently off, but still texting each other.’
A week ago it was reported that their relationship was still on the rocks, and might need a ‘significant breakthrough’ in order to work.
The actress – who was recently spotted partying without her engagement ring – and the rapper-turned-rocker have reportedly been trying to save their romance, after recently sparking break-up rumors.
‘[Megan] isn’t sure where things stand with Colson, and it’s complicated at the moment. They’re still working on their relationship because the love they had was the real deal,’ a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday.
‘That’s not something that just goes away overnight. However, they would need to have a significant breakthrough to make things work. It’s all up in the air right now.’
The dynamic pair — who got engaged in January 2022 after dating over a year — reportedly had ‘a big fight’ over Super Bowl weekend in February.

‘She was supposed to go to his performance at the Sports Illustrated party, but they had a fight and she canceled plans and flew out Saturday evening,’ the source revealed.
Meanwhile the pair’s friends apparently believe that the relationship ‘is likely over’ but Megan and MGK aren’t ready to ‘call it yet’ according to People.
‘They’re not completely done. They’re still trying to sort through things, but most of their friends think it is likely over. They’re just not ready to totally call it yet,’ the insider shared.
And this past Sunday, Megan continued to fuel breakup rumors as she was spotted riding solo and not wearing her engagement ring at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
For the lavish event held at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, the Jennifer’s Body star put on a busty display in a plunging black gown.
She looked dazzling in a chandelier diamond necklace but, most noticeably, was spotted without the double engagement ring personally designed by her beau.
The Jennifer’s Body actress first sparked break up rumors on Super Bowl Sunday when she uploaded a cryptic Instagram post with lyrics about ‘dishonesty,’ followed by deleting all traces of the rapper from her main page.
The lyrics – from Beyonce’s 2016 track Pray You Catch Me – alongside a sultry selfie and a photo of burning letters seemed to suggest trouble in paradise.

Anniversary: Megan was spotted partying without her engagement ring on Sunday, just two months after the pair celebrated the one-year anniversary of their engagement
Shortly before the Instagram post and the deactivation of her account overall, both Megan and Kelly were spotted attending a Super Bowl party together in Arizona.
Not too long after her post, the Till Death star deactivated her Instagram page before quickly resurfacing to shut down rumors of a split and insisted that no cheating had occurred in their relationship.
Another insider also told People that the model had ‘initially thought’ there was cheating, but ‘now is backtracking a bit.’
The source added that Fox, who celebrated the one-year anniversary of her engagement to the singer in January, ‘was definitely hinting at infidelity with her first post. She regrets making it all so public, but was really upset in the moment.’
Megan also came to the defense of Kelly’s guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, who was chucked into their relationship drama.
On a post the musician shared the star wrote in the comment section, ‘How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it – I will never understand. Why are people so…so dumb.’
‘Sophie you are insanely talented,’ she continued, and then added, ‘Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unwarranted PR disaster. You have now been baptized by the flames of fame.’
At the end of February, Page Six reported that the lovebirds had been having daily couples therapy sessions over Zoom.

‘Megan feels that they must give therapy a shot before making any permanent decisions,’ a source shared.
Another insider revealed to the publication that Megan discovered both, ‘DM’s and text messages’ on the rapper’s phone which prompted her to, ‘believe he has been having an affair.’
The source further explained that, ‘They are broken up, but Megan is seeing where they stand. She wants to see what they can salvage,’ while adding that Kelly, ‘really wants to make up.’
Megan and MGK were later spotted exiting a marriage counseling office together in exclusive DailyMail.com photos taken in February, but ended up parting ways in separate vehicles.
The pair met on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass and had starred alongside each other in the 2021 thriller film.
Fox and MGK dated for over one year before they got engaged January 2022.
Megan was previously married to fellow actor, Brian Austin Green, from 2010 until their divorce was finalized in 2021 after separating one year earlier.
The two share three children together, Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6.
