Sources have told Vanity Fair magazine that the couple have rescheduled their proposed tour for late 2019 after they cancelled plans for the Spring due to Meghan’s pregnancy.

Courtiers are said to be in the early stages of planning a tour that will take place after the Duchess, 37, has taken a short maternity leave from royal duties of six months.

The couple were due to visit California-born Meghan’s home and Canada where she lived while filming Suits early next year, but they will now arrive as a family of three.

While royal tours are jam packed with engagements, there will no doubt be a chance for Meghan to catch up with her mother Doria.

She has already joined Meghan on one official engagement when she accompanied her daughter to a launch party at Kensington Palace for the charity cookbook Together.

Meghan might also have a chance to catch up with old friends and work colleagues in Canada if she visits Toronto, where the set of her now former show Suits was set.

Thomas Markle, Meghan’s dad will probably be hoping that the new Duchess will be paying him a visit while she’s in the US.
